action man control centre

Action man control centre.

We've managed to accumulate a number of action men (mainly from carboots for a pound) who have been living with tge barbies. Little lady was getting slighty annoyed by the action men's behaviour so a solution was needed!
Action man control centre was dreamt up!

It started life as a trampoline box and floors were added from strong boxes glued into place.

The first floor has a prison made from lolly sticks and cardboard as well as a storage area. 2nd floor is the office level complete with desk and laptop. 3rd floor is the meeting room and finally on the fourth floor is the bedroom with a bunk bed. Everything was made from cardboard boxes and packaging. I found s good website which had printables.http://myfroggystuff.blogspot.co.uk

Alice in Wonderland party

Alice in wonderland party

Little lady was turning 6 so we decided on a alice in wonderland themed party. I made as much as I could on as low a budget as possible.

Cheshire cat made from cardboard and suspended by invivible wire.
Sign outside the house. Made from cereal packets and glued to a garden cane.

Tables decorated!
Cups, saucers and plates from charity shop. £4 for 10 people.
Electic mix of chairs. Playing cards scattered around and paper maiche toadstools used.
Paper cups made from book pages and suspended above the dining table.

Paper maiche toadstools in the garden.
Homemade keys hang from the tree.

Plain mugs 50p from morrisons.
Children decorated them with permanent pen either free hand or using stencils. Took home to back in the oven.

Water table and lego.

Endless possibilities!
How can the duplo people get across the water?
Bridge building followed.
Little man wanted to put barriers up for safety.
Can we make a boat?
Simple floating raft constructed.
